Terms of Service

Welcome to ZenTrans ("Service"), an AI-powered document translation application operated by ZenTrans ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any part of the Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

ZenTrans provides automated document translation services using artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technology. The Service allows users to upload PDF documents and receive translations with preserved original layout. Translations are generated by third-party AI models (including but not limited to: Google Gemini, OpenAI) and are not performed by human translators.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: All translations provided by ZenTrans are generated entirely by artificial intelligence (AI). No automated translation is perfect, and this Service is not intended to replace professional human translators. While ZenTrans strives to provide the highest possible accuracy in translations, we make NO guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the translated content. Due to the probabilistic nature of machine learning technology, translations may contain: • Semantic, grammatical, or terminology errors • Omissions or additions not present in the original • Inaccurate interpretation of context or meaning • Formatting or layout errors Users are strongly advised to review translations before use, especially for documents of legal, medical, financial, or technical importance. We recommend using professional human translators to verify critical translations.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: a) ZenTrans shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of translations generated by the Service, including but not limited to: • Economic damages, loss of profits, or revenue • Legal damages, including disputes, litigation, or legal sanctions • Business losses or lost business opportunities • Reputational damage • Loss or corruption of data b) The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. c) ZenTrans's total liability to you under all circumstances shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months, or USD $10, whichever is greater.

You understand and agree that: a) You are ultimately responsible for the quality and accuracy of any translation you use from the Service. It is your responsibility to verify and evaluate translations before use. b) You should not rely solely on AI translations for legal, medical, financial documents, or any documents where errors could lead to damages. c) You have all necessary rights and licenses to upload and translate content through the Service. You represent that you will not upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights. d) You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold ZenTrans harmless from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

a) Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to your original documents and the translations generated. ZenTrans claims no intellectual property rights over your content or translations. b) Processing License: By uploading content, you grant ZenTrans a limited, temporary license to process and translate the content for the purpose of providing the Service. This license automatically terminates when the translation process is complete. c) ZenTrans Software: All intellectual property rights in the software, algorithms, user interface, design, and technology of ZenTrans belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

a) Documents you upload are processed temporarily in server memory for translation and are not permanently stored on our systems after the translation process is complete. b) Translation content may be sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI) for processing. Use of data by these providers is subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. c) We advise users not to upload documents containing sensitive personal information, trade secrets, or confidential information without appropriate safeguards. d) We collect basic Google account information (name, email, profile picture) when you sign in to provide the Service. This information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

You agree not to use the Service to: • Translate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory content • Translate content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service • Use the Service to build directly competing products or services • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without permission • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse system resources

a) You may stop using the Service at any time by logging out and ceasing to access it. b) We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. c) We reserve the right to discontinue the Service or any features with reasonable notice.

ZenTrans shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, war, epidemics, internet infrastructure failures, third-party service provider failures, or government regulations.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by arbitration or the competent courts of Vietnam.

a) Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. b) Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ZenTrans regarding the use of the Service. c) No Waiver: ZenTrans's failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. d) Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you need parental or guardian consent.
